The Art of Irene Iusi Y Layus
"Iusi" is pronounced "you see" in English,
therefore when you see IusiArt, you see the way Iusi sees Art and Life
Art is an expression of the soul. Through art, we give a statement of who we are, what we think, what our vision of the world is. Through every brush stroke, a piece of our subconscious is exposed.
Living is art; Art is love; Love for life. It is all connected. As living is, Art, can be tedious, harsh, tough, frustrating, painful and difficult but also beautiful, incredible, breathtaking, wonderful, vibrant, delightful, exciting and magnificent. It is all part of the whole.
Being an Artist is to see or to be a seer. To be a good artist is to express with accuracy what it is seen, not in the traditional meaning of the word but in the metaphysics definition of it.
As an Artist, and as a human, I only wish to help, guide, empathize, show, and share the love, the teachings, the experience along my travels.
Maybe,
if I do it good enough,
I will make you think.
I will make you feel.
I will connect with your soul.
Irene Iusi Y Layus is a multidiciplinary artist, half Italian, half Argentinean, born in Granada, Spain
Iusi has been involve with The Arts since childhood, studying at an Art's high school, a Graphic Design Degree in Spain and a Shoe Making course in London. Recently, she has been working as a photographer in Arlie Beach, Queensland. She has been practicing her true passion for the last 5 years experimenting with a wide array of mediums such as oils, acrylics, pencil, graphite, charcoal and watercolor.
She is now based in Australia.
